Know the current limit
Etsy’s official help currently says an instant-download listing can include up to five digital files and each file can be no larger than 20 MB. The 20 MB limit applies to each file, not to the five-file set as one combined total.

Plan the five delivery slots
Use one slot for a clearly named START-HERE file when the product needs setup help. Group related assets only when the package remains easy for a buyer to understand and the file type is currently supported by Etsy.
Name each attachment by product, format, and version. Avoid working-state names such as final-final or files-2, which make downloads harder to identify later.
Fix files that exceed 20 MB
Export images at an appropriate resolution, remove unnecessary embedded assets, or divide the product into meaningful parts. Recheck each finished attachment rather than assuming a compressed folder is below the limit.
If you use an external-delivery document, first confirm that the storage method, access terms, and listing description comply with Etsy’s current policies.
